It is through the compassionate grace of the Guru and wonderful efforts of a number of Hamsas that invaluable elucidations on Kriya yoga by a Master are now freely available to all sincere seekers.

For those that are already initiated into the ancient science of Kriya yoga will get great benefit by viewing these with humility and absorb the wisdom of the Rishis from a Rishi that walks amongst us!

For those that have not been initiated into Kriya watch with a childlike intensity and foster devotion to this ancient practice that is the Great Liberation for many sincere seekers and when you are finally initiated you will be already having a momentum that many others in other times never thought possible.

How is it that in this time we may see a Master with the click of a mouse and He may enter our thought stream and heart with the Immortal Light, Sound, Love and Wisdom? Sri Ganesh is dancing on the mouse and many obstacles have been removed. Babaji has blessed sincere seekers in this age by sending the Masters to us in diverse and manifold ways. We must not waste these blessings and follow the path laid and enlightened by the Masters...

Sri Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath was on a Radio show recently on October 5 2009.

If you missed the 'real'-time stream Contact Talk Radio has graciously put up the whole interview on their website to download or listen again.

Yogiraj not only speaks of His mission and gives simple, practical and pragmatic advice on how to walk the path in our daily lives but also gives a public initiation into GOLDEN LOTUS meditation. He responds to the interviewer request to provide a technique for all by giving a transmission of this S.H.E. HYS Technique.

I urge all sincere seekers that want to learn Kriya and have not yet got in contact with a Hamsacharya/authorized teacher of Kriya to listen/download this show. If you can edit and cut out the initiation and listen to this while sitting for meditation - you will be perfectly prepared to receive the ancient science of Kriya Yoga.

There are some compliments to this Golden Lotus technique that Yogiraj gives on this show that include the japa mantra-bij (seed) syllable and this will be given by a Hamsacharya/authorized teacher directly.

Ustad Ali Akbar Khan

Last night while attending a concert by Irshad Khan I learned that Ustad Ali Akbar Khan had joined the Masters in the celestial realms...The world mourns another irreplaceable icon...

This one had the great fortune to see this legend at the Doverlane Music Conference through the great blessing of being in Kolkata (or as many locals say 'Cal'), India/Bharat with some great friends of family who had sponsored Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma. I remember that He had brought many of His students from California and it was a fantastic and unexpected jugalbundi of instruments and voices. Even then He was gravely ill and it was unsure if He would make it. He spoke for some thyme in a mixture of Hindi, Urdu and Bengali and said it would probably be the last thyme anyone would see Him at Doverlane...I remember many people crying after hearing this...thankfully there were several more years where the world would experience the Master live in concert...

We must now connect with this great devotee of Allah and Ma Saraswati through the lineage and the many recordings He has left for us...

"Real music is not for wealth, not for honours or even the joys of the mind... but as a path for realisation and salvation."
